Yes, we all know that academic standards have been dropping like a stone for longer than we can remember. But I really don't need to be reminded over breakfast:
What a great learning opportunity for children at breakfast time as they love to see 'those that should know better' make mistakes. Who can blame them? I am going to go and find a carton. Does it taste good?
Thanks for that Blue Eyes. I was a bit slow today.
No excuse really, since it's not first thing in the morning. Of course, if it had been first thing in the morning, this post would have had me wishing that we had some freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice in the fridge!
Ye's Blue, thats' certainly the mos't s'erious problem with the sentens'e. The content's did taste very nice, though.
I accept, of course, that any apostrophe error I make from now on will (quite rightly) be pounced on with glee. Fellow grammar Nazi's, sharpen you're knives'.
