Goodwood, last week

Me, relaxing:

Postscript - Measured wonders whether there were any other cars on the circuit. Yes, there were.

  1. Where are all the other cars? Were you really that far behind? ;-)

  2. :-D Cheeky! None coming past, either!

(Goodwood operates to strict noise levels, so only runs 5 cars on track at a time. On a 2 mile track, that is a fair distance between you, so generally you only catch up with someone later in a session)

  3. You seem wiser than some. Scary stuff.

  4. That's very skilled driving, M. To keep the car at that ragged edge without falling off the tarmac - especially on that circuit - requires ability that I do not even pretend to have.

But not much fun for a passenger, I agree.

  5. Rather more sedate than I expected. Like an elderly couple out on a Sunday afternoon drive.

  6. I'll wait for evidence that you can do better? ;-)

That would be quite a Sunday drive - check the (under-reading) GPS speedometer. Try that on Sunday and you'll lose your licence and possibly your liberty...

Anyway, it's a very wide-angle lens so just looks slower than it really is. [insert other racing-driver-esque excuses here]

  7. BTW, who is your co-pilot?

  8. A relative of Mrs P, and holder of a racing licence (hence the calm and relaxed state!).

I thought that was just your boring driving.

  10. You now have an invite to my next one, so that I can post the video of you screaming like a little girl ;-)
