One of the two parcel bombs intercepted last week after being sent from Yemen was defused 17 minutes before it was due to go off, France's Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux has said.17 minutes??
Seventeen whole minutes?
Oh really. We all know you're not meant to defuse it until the timer clicks to 00:00:01.
(pointed out by a colleague who sits nearby...and who reads this blog...)
That's why, when I plant my bombs, they'll be set to go off at 02:02:02.
ReplyDeleteTake that, Jack Bauer! Bwahahaha!
Good idea!
ReplyDeleteAnd something for Robin Hood airport to bear in mind...
Printer cartridges have just been banned from being sent overseas from this country?
ReplyDeleteRoyal mail have been instructed not to accept any cartridges over 500g for postage overseas. They have instructed post offices to check customs labels for 'printer ink' and refuse parcels.
How does this help?
It helps in the sense that all the sheep think 'Ah! Someone's doing something! Thank the lord!'
ReplyDeleteThat the 'something' is of no practical use is, sadly, missed by them...
